FEEDBACK PROCEDURE
Government Polytechnic, Nellore
(Committed to Continuous Improvement through Stakeholder Feedback)
1. Objective
The objective of the feedback system at Government Polytechnic, Nellore is to ensure continuous improvement in teaching–learning processes, infrastructure, student support services, and overall institutional functioning by systematically collecting and acting upon feedback from all stakeholders.
2. Stakeholders Involved
Feedback is collected from the following stakeholders:
- Students
- Faculty Members
- Alumni
- Parents
- Employers / Industry Experts
- Mentees (where applicable)
3. Modes of Feedback Collection
Feedback is obtained through offline mode by placing Suggestion Box at prominent locations in the campus.
4. Frequency of Feedback
- Student feedback on teaching–learning: Once every semester
- Alumni and employer feedback: Once in a year
- Parent feedback: During parent–teacher meetings
- Faculty feedback: Once every academic year
5. Collection & Compilation
- HoDs collect the filled feedback forms / online responses.
- The data is compiled department-wise.
- Confidentiality and anonymity of stakeholders are ensured.
6. Analysis of Feedback
The compiled feedback is submitted to the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).
IQAC analyzes:
- Teaching effectiveness
- Curriculum relevance
- Infrastructure & laboratory facilities
- Student support services
- Institutional administration
7. Action Taken & Implementation
- The Principal and IQAC Coordinator discuss the feedback in IQAC meetings.
- Action plans are prepared for issues identified.
- Responsibilities are assigned to concerned departments.
- Improvement measures are implemented within a stipulated timeframe.
8. Communication & Follow-Up
Major improvements and actions taken are communicated to:
- Faculty
- Students
- Stakeholders (where relevant)
Compliance and progress are reviewed in subsequent IQAC meetings.
9. Continuous Improvement Cycle
Feedback → Analysis → Action Plan → Implementation → Review → Improvement
This systematic process ensures quality enhancement and institutional development.
10. Record Maintenance
- Feedback forms
- Analysis reports
- IQAC meeting minutes
- Action taken reports
All documents are maintained by IQAC for audits, accreditation, and internal review.
