Anti Ragging Committee
GOVERNMENT POLYTECHNIC, NELLORE – ANTI-RAGGING COMMITTEE
Government Polytechnic, Nellore strictly prohibits ragging in any form within the campus, hostel, and surrounding areas. The institution follows a Zero-Tolerance Policy in accordance with the regulations of the All India Council for Technical Education and the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

WHAT CONSTITUTES RAGGING?
Ragging includes any act that causes physical or psychological harm, harassment, intimidation, humiliation, or inconvenience to a student.
INSTITUTIONAL COMMITMENT
- Formation of an Anti-Ragging Committee and Squad
- Mandatory Anti-Ragging Undertaking from students and parents at the time of admission
- Regular awareness programmes for freshers and senior students
- Continuous monitoring of campus and hostel premises
DISCIPLINARY ACTION
Any student found guilty of ragging will face strict disciplinary action, including suspension, expulsion, and legal proceedings as per applicable rules.

Students can report incidents directly to:
- The Principal
- Members of the Anti-Ragging Committee
- Designated Anti-Ragging Helpline
The institution ensures complete confidentiality and protection for complainants.
