Aims & Objectives

The primary aim of Government Polytechnic, Nellore is to impart quality technical education and skill-oriented training to students, enabling them to become competent professionals and responsible citizens.

The institution strives to provide a strong foundation in engineering and technology through a balanced blend of theoretical knowledge and practical exposure.

Its objectives include promoting technical excellence, encouraging innovation and creativity, and fostering an environment that supports industry–institute interaction and entrepreneurial development.

The polytechnic also aims to inculcate ethical values, discipline, and teamwork among students while preparing them to meet the challenges of modern industry and society.

In alignment with the vision of the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh, the institution is committed to continuous improvement in teaching, learning, and community service for the holistic development of its students.
